About This Event

Frisner Jean-Pierre, Jr., is a Professional Mechanical Engineer with over 8 years in public and private industry, with experience in energy modeling as well as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEP-FP), design, testing, and commissioning. In his current role as a Project Programmer for the US Air Force at Tyndall Air Force Base, he helps the rebuild effort after Hurricane Michael caused extensive destruction by defining requirements for a variety of facility repair, maintenance, and construction projects.

Frisner graduated from Pensacola Christian College with his BS in Mechanical Engineering and as the President of the Sigma Kappa Delta fraternity. Since then, he has volunteered with the US Green Building Council to promote sustainable construction practices and at Cyber-security conferences in Haiti where he taught their community about flourishing remote-work opportunities. He spent several years performing energy models on homes, hospitals, government buildings, and universities to determine that buildings’ energy efficiency. He has designed MEP systems for condos, elementary schools, and community centers and commissioned systems for police departments, fire departments, and a cruise terminal. In his current profession he has programmed over $10 million dollars of projects, including rebuilding radio towers for the 53 Weapons Evaluation Group and safe flying operations and the base’s FAM Camp as thousands of families return to Tyndall.
