Learning & Development Team Leader

Role Description:

As the Learning & Development Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of project managers to design, implement, and evaluate innovative learning and development programs that align with our organizational goals and objectives.

Typical Weekly Activities for this Position

Some of the tasks that you would perform in this position throughout a typical week might include:

  1. Meet with our L&D team members to ensure materials are prepared for our people leadership and project management programs,
  2. Review (QA/QC) materials for our L&D people leadership and project management programs and provide feedback based on your subject matter expertise (including instructor scripts/notes),
  3. Attend meetings with clients to ensure the design of the L&D programs accomplishes their goals,
  4. Manage/work on special projects which might include; industry surveys, white paper projects, our new AEC PM certification, facilitating mastermind groups, etc.,
  5. Attend conferences to help build the EMI brand.
  6. Thought leadership activities.

Key Skills/Responsibilities:

Position Outcomes

It is expected that once you are fully trained and into this role, you would be involved with 2 to 3 client calls per week.

There’s an expectation you’ll respond promptly to all messages on Slack and Gmail within 24 hours.

You must be available between 8-5pm ET for client calls and team meetings.

It’s very important that you respect all given deadlines and finish tasks by their agreed completion dates.

And finally, it’s important you communicate all problems as they arise, ask questions as much as possible and be ready to do what it takes to keep everything running smoothly.
