Engineering Management Institute (EMI) is seeking experienced architecture professionals to join our network of remote, part-time instructors. In this role, you’ll deliver engaging online training sessions that help engineers, architects, and technical professionals develop the leadership, project management, and communication skills they need to succeed in today’s complex AEC environment. While sessions are typically delivered virtually, instructors may occasionally have the opportunity to facilitate in-person training sessions with client firms, scheduled well in advance.

At EMI, our instructors play a vital role in helping AEC professionals grow into stronger project managers and leaders. You’ll work with firms across the industry, sharing practical insights drawn from your own professional experience.
This role allows you to share the lessons learned throughout your career while helping engineers and architects strengthen the leadership and project management skills needed to lead successful projects and teams. Many of our instructors are senior engineers, architects, and industry leaders who enjoy contributing to the development of the profession while maintaining their primary careers.
EMI instructors deliver live virtual training sessions via Zoom/MS Teams that help AEC professionals develop practical skills they can immediately apply in their projects and organizations.

Ideal candidates enjoy sharing their expertise and helping others grow professionally.
This is a part-time role with variable hours based on program demand.
Sessions are generally scheduled in advance, and instructors are notified when assignments become available. This role is primarily virtual; however, instructors may occasionally be invited to facilitate in-person sessions with client organizations when program needs arise. These opportunities are scheduled well in advance and travel is expected to be limited and infrequent.
