EMI continues to build a network of top engineering management trainers to service engineering organizations worldwide. Below is our team of trainers which we are constantly growing as we expand geographically.
Anthony Fasano, P.E., LEED AP, Founder
Anthony Fasano is the founder of The Engineering Management Institute (EMI), which began with the creation of Engineering Management Institute website and podcast, which is a resource that provides free and affordable career and personal development resources specifically for younger and developing engineers. After rapidly advancing at a reputable civil engineering firm at the age of 27, Fasano realized that his success was related largely to the development of his non-technical skills. Since that time Fasano has decided to transition his career from designing to inspiring engineers in their soft skill development through coaching, speaking and training.
In the past few years Fasano has written a bestselling book entitled Engineer Your Own Success: 7 Key Elements to Creating an Extraordinary Engineering Career and created a top-rated engineering iTunes podcast entitled Engineering Management Institute which was recently cited as one of the 15 most inspiring podcasts for professionals by Forbes.
Alexi Lambert, EIT
Alexi is currently the Director of Inbound Marketing at Xcellimark, an award-winning Digital Marketing Agency. She is also a US Navy Veteran that served as a Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) Officer.
In the CEC, Alexi served as a Naval Construction Manager simultaneously managing up to 33 projects, worth $18.4 Million spread across 6 military bases. She also analyzed and calculated the energy and utility consumption for the military bases of the Southwest Region of the US while stationed in the Headquarters of Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest (NAVFAC SW).
While in the Navy, Alexi was the Command Fitness Leader for NAVFAC SW, the Marketing Chairman of the U.S. Navy Women’s Leadership Network, Battalion Commander at Officer Candidate School (OCS), a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, and Engineers Without Borders.
Prior to the Navy, Alexi earned her Civil Engineering Degree at the University of Florida and received her Engineer in Training (EIT) certification after passing the Civil Engineering Fundamentals Exam.
Alexi is a proven leader and performer with a track record of consistent success who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic environment. Her strengths include civil engineering, planning, coordination, project management, team leadership, strategic planning, marketing, and communications. Her experience also includes an extensive background in personal fitness training, event coordination, and humanitarian service projects in 6 foreign countries.
On a personal note, Alexi treasures God, her family, close friends, and her dogs the most. She has an unhealthy addiction to coffee, but she considers herself a “lost cause” for anyone that tries to wean her off. She loves to laugh, smile, and talk to people (she talks a lot). And while she is a die-hard college football fan, she still really can’t seem to grasp how to play fantasy football.
